Simply Chocolate Cocktails

Chocolate Kiss

You will need:

  • 1.5 oz Putney Mountain Simply Chocolate liqueur
  • 1.5 oz Putney Mountain Vermont Cassis liqueur

Instructions: Mix the two liqueurs together. Enjoy this cocktail neat or on the rocks.

Chocolate Delight

You will need:

  • 1 oz Putney Mountain Simply Chocolate liqueur
  • 1 oz Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • 0.5 oz vodka
  • 1 oz heavy cream
  • chocolate syrup (garnish)
  • Whipped cream (garnish)
  • ice

Instructions: Put all ingredients except for chocolate syrup and whipped cream in a cocktail shaker and shake. Drizzle the chocolate syrup around the rim of a glass and down the sides. Strain the drink into the prepared glass, and top with whipped cream.

Orange Creamsicle

You will need:

  • 3 oz Putney Mountain Simply Chocolate liqueur
  • 1.5 oz orange juice
  • Ice
  • Orange wedge (garnish)

Instructions: Fill a glass with ice. Pour orange juice and liqueur over the ice and stir. Garnish with an orange wedge.

Simply Maple Cocktails

Vermont Irish Coffee

You will need:

  • 1 oz Putney Mountain Simply Maple liqueur
  • 2 oz Jameson’s Original Whiskey
  • 4.5 oz hot espresso
  • 1.5 oz whipped cream
  • Pinch of grated dark chocolate

Instructions: Stir the Simply Maple liqueur into the whiskey in a warmed glass. Pour in the espresso. Add whipped cream over the back of a spoon so that it floats on top. Dust with a grating of dark chocolate.

Maple Whiskey Sour

You will need:

  • 1 oz Putney Mountain Simply Maple liqueur
  • 2 oz Maker’s Mark bourbon
  • 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
  • Egg white (optional)
  • Orange wedge

Instructions: Shake all ingredients without ice. Add ice and shake again. Strain into an old fashioned glass. Add fresh ice. Garnish with a wedge of orange.

Maple Manhattan

You will need:

  • 1 oz Putney Mountain Simply Maple liqueur
  • 2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey
  • Dash of Angostura bitters
  • Orange peel

Instructions: Place ice in a cocktail shaker. Add whiskey, liqueur and bitters. Rub the orange peel around the rim of a cocktail glass. Strain the drink into the glass. Enjoy!

Maple Cider

You will need:

  • 1 oz Putney Mountain Simply Maple liqueur
  • 2 oz fresh apple cider
  • 2 oz bourbon whiskey
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Ice
  • Apple slices to garnish

Instructions: Put bourbon, lemon juice, liqueur and cider in a cocktail shaker and shake. Place ground cinnamon on plate and press the rim of a chilled rocks glass into it. Fill the glass with ice and add the contents of the cocktail shaker. Garnish with apple slices and enjoy!

Pumpkin Pie

You will need:

  • 1.5 oz Putney Mountain Simply Ginger liqueur
  • 1.5 oz Putney Mountain Simply Maple liqueur
  • 2 oz bourbon whiskey
  • 1 oz pumpkin puree
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 2 oz club soda
  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Ice
  • Optional garnish, cinnamon stick and rosemary sprig

Instructions: Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously.

Strain mixture into tall glass filled with fresh ice.

Vermont Cassis Cocktails

Maggie's Gin and Tonic

You will need:

  • 1 oz  Putney Mountain Winery Vermont  Cassis liqueur
  • 1 oz gin
  • 1 oz  Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 3 oz  Tonic Water

Instructions:  In a tall glass add ice, gin, Vermont Cassis, lime juice and tonic. Garnish with slice of lime.

Tequila Hummingbird

You will need:

  • 0.5 oz Putney Mountain Vermont Cassis liqueur
  • 1 oz Putney Mountain Simply Ginger liqueur
  • 1.5 oz dark tequila
  • 2 oz sparkling water
  • Lime wedge (garnish)

Instructions: Combine tequila, Vermont Cassis, Simply Ginger and lime juice. Pour into a highball glass over ice. Top with sparkling water and garnish with a wedge of lime.

Kir Royal

You will need:

  • 1 – 3 oz  (to taste) Putney Mountain Winery Vermont Cassis liqueur
  • 5 oz Putney Mountain Northern Spy sparkling wine, Champagne, Prosecco or Cava

Instructions: Pour Champagne or other dry sparkling wine into a champagne flute. Add Vermont Cassis slowly and watch it swirl through the sparkling wine. Use the larger measure of Vermont Cassis to make it sweeter.

Simply Ginger Cocktails

Rum and Ginger

You will need:

  • 3 oz Putney Mountain Simply Ginger liqueur
  • 1 oz white rum
  • Squeeze of fresh lemon juice
  • Wedge of lemon (garnish)
  • Ice

Instructions: Chill rum in freezer and liqueur in refrigerator. Combine liqueur and rum in a cocktail glass over ice, add a squeeze of lemon juice to taste and garnish with lemon wedge.

Tequila Mockingbird

You will need:

  • 3 oz Putney Mountain Simply Ginger liqueur
  • 1 oz Casamigos blanco tequila
  • Squeeze of fresh lime juice
  • Lime wedge (garnish)

Instructions: Chill tequila in the freezer and liqueur in the refrigerator. Combine liqueur with tequila in a stemless champagne flute. Add a squeeze of lime juice to taste and garnish with a lime wedge.

 

Snowbird Fizz

You will need:

  • 1 oz Putney Mountain Simply Ginger liqueur
  • 4 oz Putney Mountain Northern Spy sparkling wine, prosecco, or champagne
  • 1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • Grapefruit wedge (garnish)

Instructions: Combine grapefruit juice and liqueur in a champagne flute. Add sparkling wine and stir gently. Garnish with grapefruit wedge and enjoy!

Peach Ginger Slushie

You will need:

  • 1.5 oz Putney Mountain Simply Ginger liqueur
  • 1 cup frozen peach slices
  • 1.5 oz bourbon
  • 1 tsp finely grated ginger root (you can adjust this amount to your liking)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Juice of 1/2 a lime
  • 1/2 cup limeade
  • Ice cubes (about 5 or 6)

 

Instructions: Combine all ingredients except for ice in a blender, and blend until done. Slowly blend in ice cubes a few at a time until the drink is the consistency of a slushy. Garnish with a slice of lime and enjoy.

Pumpkin Pie

You will need:

  • 1.5 oz Putney Mountain Simply Ginger liqueur
  • 1.5 oz Putney Mountain Simply Maple liqueur
  • 2 oz bourbon whiskey
  • 1 oz pumpkin puree
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 2 oz club soda
  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Ice
  • Optional garnish, cinnamon stick and rosemary sprig

Instructions: Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously.

Strain mixture into tall glass filled with fresh ice.

September in a Glass

You will need:

  • 2 oz Putney Mountain In Celebration Vermont Apple Brandy
  • 1.5 oz Putney Mountain Simply Maple liqueur
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1 small egg white

Instructions: Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker without ice and shake. Then add ice and continue shaking. Strain the mixture into a glass and garnish with an apple slice or lemon wheel.

Wine Cocktails

New England Mimosa

You will need:

  • 1 Bottle Putney Mountain Northern Spy sparkling wine
  • 1 Bottle Putney Mountain Simply Cranberry wine

Instructions: Fill a champagne flute two thirds of the way full with Northern Spy sparkling wine. Top off the glass with Simply Cranberry wine and enjoy!

Mulled Apple Wine

You will need:

  • 1 Bottle Putney Mountain Apple Maple wine
  • 2-3 tablespoons Vermont maple syrup (to taste)
  • Optional – add a splash of Putney Mountain Simply Maple liqueur.
  • 1 clove
  • 1 cinnamon stick or 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions: Heat all ingredients, but DON’T BOIL. Keep warm in a teapot or thermos. Serve in mugs garnished with a cinnamon stick.

Rhubarb Frosé

You will need:

  • 1 bottle Putney Mountain Rhubarb Blush wine
  • 2 cups strawberries
  • 2 ice cube trays
  • Blender
  • Wine glasses
  • Mint leaves

Instructions: Fill both ice cube trays with Rhubarb Blush wine and freeze until solid. Simultaneously, cut the tops off of strawberries, slice them in half and freeze. When both the wine and berries are frozen, place them in the blender blend on high. You may need to leave the frozen berries and wine out at room temperature for a few minutes before doing this for the blender to work. Serve in wine glasses with mint to garnish.
